    Description

    Configure trace-level options for the BGF core component of the virtual BGF.

    Options

    default trace-level—Default trace level for all bgf-core messages.

    firewall trace-level—Trace level for the firewall subcomponent, which controls firewall filters, connections, and all relevant firewall activities.

    gate-logic trace-level—Trace level for the gate-logic subcomponent, which controls gate common logic, gate lookup, and gate manager activities.

    pic-broker trace-level—Trace level for the pic-broker subcomponent, which controls gates on the PIC.

    policy trace-level—Trace level for the policy subcomponent, which controls media function and socket policy.

    statistics trace-level—Trace level for the statistics subcomponent, which provides pgcpd statistics.

    trace-level—Trace-level options are related to the severity of the event being traced. When you choose a trace level, messages at that level and higher levels are captured. Enter one of the following trace levels as the trace-level:

    • debug—Logging of all code flow of control.
    • trace—Logging of program trace START and EXIT macros.
    • info—Summary logs for normal operations, such as the policy decisions made for a call.
    • warning—Failure recovery or failure of an external entity.
    • error—Failure with a short-term effect, such as failed processing of a single call.
