show chassis device-mode
Syntax
Release Information
Command introduced in Junos OS Release 11.2 for the QFX Series.
Description
Display information about the operating mode of the device. For example, QFX3500 devices operate either as a single switch in standalone mode or as a QFabric system Node device in node-device mode.
 | Note: Issue the show chassis device-mode command only when your management station is connected directly to the device over a console port connection. |

Output Fields

Field Name | Field Description |
|---|---|
Current device-mode | Existing operational mode for the device. The device can be in either node-device mode or standalone mode. |
Future device-mode after reboot | Future operational mode for the device after you reboot it. The device can be in either node-device mode or standalone mode. Note: To set the future mode of the device, issue the request chassis device-mode command. |
