Syntax

forward-only;

Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.1X46-D10.

Description

Specify that the server to forward only DNS queries. This configuration prevents the device from acquiring public IP addresses, in case the IP address specified in forwarders option is not reachable, by terminating the DNS query.
