Configuring a Policy and Charging Enforcement Function Profile for Junos OS Subscriber Aware Policies That a RADIUS Server Controls
A policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF) profile configured for policy control by a RADIUS server specifies that the RADIUS server activates and deactivates policy and charging control (PCC) rulebases that you have predefined on the MX Series router.
Before you configure a PCEF profile for policies controlled by a RADIUS server, you must do the following:
Configure PCC rulebases.
Configure an AAA profile.
To configure a PCEF profile for policies controlled by a RADIUS server:
- Specify a name for the PCEF profile.[edit unified-edge pcef]user@host# edit profiles profile-name
- Specify one or more PCC rule bases for policy control
by a RADIUS server.[edit unified-edge pcef profiles profile-name]user@host# set aaa-policy-control pcc-rulebases rulebase-name
- Specify the AAA profile that identifies the RADIUS server
policy control parameters.[edit unified-edge pcef profiles profile-name]user@host# set aaa-policy-control aaa-profile aaa-profile-name
- Configure the user password for subscribers assigned to
