Release Information
Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 7.5.
Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 9.0 for EX Series switches.
Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 13.2X51-D10 for QFX Series switches.
Description
Configure the time of day at which to generate an internal event, which can be used to trigger an event policy. The time is relative to the local device time and is configured using 24-hour time format hh:mm:ss.
You can optionally include a UTC offset to specify a time relative
to UTC. If you do not configure a UTC offset, Junos OS automatically
generates the offset based on the local time zone setting of the device
and displays it in the time-of-day
configuration.
If you configure a UTC offset, and it is different from that of the
device, Junos OS automatically converts the time-of-day
configuration to reflect the device’s local time and offset
from UTC.
