    Release Information

    Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 15.1 for MX80, MX104, MX240, MX480, MX960, MX2010, and MX2020 routers.

    Description

Configure the properties for evaluating and tracking the utilization of memory resources, such as ukern memory (heap), next-hop memory, and firewall or filter memory. You can define the characteristics to control the generation of system logging error messages, based on the watermark or checkpoint values that are exceeded for the different memory regions or blocks. Also, you can specify the resource category that you want to monitor and analyze for ensuring system stability, especially the health and operating efficiency of I-chip-based line cards and Trio-based FPCs on MX Series routers.

The remaining statements are explained separately.
