    Release Information

Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 16.1R1 for Junos Fusion Enterprise.

Defines a chassis ID number for the aggregation device in a Junos Fusion.

The chassis ID number is used to create the interchassis link (ICL) that connects aggregation devices in a Junos Fusion topology with dual aggregation devices. The ICL is created by entering the set chassis satellite-management redundancy-groups redundancy-group-name peer-chassis-ID peer-chassis-id-number inter-chassis-link interface-name statement on each aggregation device, where peer-chassis-id-number is the chassis ID number of the other aggregation device.

An aggregation device is not assigned a chassis ID number by default.
