    Release Information

Statement introduced in Junos OS Release 12.3X54 for ACX Series Routers.

Define an aggregate policer as a single parent policer across all the child policer instances in the system. A single instance of the policer is created system-wide.

You must then link or associate the child policers to the parent or aggregate policer by specifying at each child policer by using the aggregate-policing aggregate-policer-name statement at the [edit firewall policer policer-name if-exceeding] hierarchy level. This step is additional, from the procedure to create a single-level policer, to configure a hierarchical policer.

globalIndicates that the aggregate policer is a parent and applicable globally throughout the system.
