    Understanding Central Point Session Scaling

A central point session can become congested in a fully loaded SRX5800 device, where the number of SPU sessions can reach more than 20 million. To produce more central point sessions, you can optimize the central point by increasing the total number of sessions to either 20 million IPv4 sessions or 10 million IPv6 sessions.

You can use the following CLI command to expand the central point session:

    user@host# edit security forwarding-process application-services maximize-cp-sessions

You can use the following CLI command to alter the load distribution to hash based on the central point:

    user@host# edit security forwarding-process application-services session-distribution-mode hash-based
