Service Now REST APIs

 

Table 1 lists the web services that Junos Space Service Now exposes as RESTful APIs.

Global Settings Management

The Global Settings Management service allows you to configure operating mode of Service Now, Confiure SNMP, SFTP servers for core file upload, and manage the directive file.

You can also retrieve the configured global settings, modify SFTP configurations, and test connection of an organization with Service Now partner or Juniper Support Systems.

Organization Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ organization-management

The Organization Management service allows you to create, retrieve, update, and delete organizations.

It also allows you to retrieve sites associated with an organization, and add and modify end customer organizations on an Partner Proxy Service Now installation.

Device Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ device- management

The Device Management service allows you to add, retrieve, and delete devices from Service Now.

It also allows you to assign a device to a device group and generate on-demand incidents on the device.

Event Profile Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ event- profile-management

The Event Profile Management service allows you to retrieve, install, and delete event profiles installed on devices running Junos OS.

Script Bundle Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ script bundle-management

The Script Bundle Management service allows you to retrieve script bundles uploaded to Service Now and the events contained in the script bundles.

It also allows you to create an event profile using a script bundle.

Incident Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ incident-management

The Incident Management service allows you to retrieve, delete, and submit incidents.

You can also export the JMB associated with an incident and modify the submit case settings of an incident.

Incident Filter Management

The Incident Filter Management service allows you to create, retrieve details, delete and enable or disable an incident filter

The Service Now Notification service allows you to retrieve Service Now notificaiton details, create and copy a notification, enable or disable a notification and delete a notification

Tech Support Case Management

The Technical Support Case Management service allows you to retrieve and update technical support cases.

End Customer Case Management

The Service Now End Customer Case Management service allows you to retrieve all End Customer cases.

Device Snapshot Management

The Device Snapshot Management service allows you to retrieve, export, and delete device snapshots.

Auto Submit Policy Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ autosubmit-policy-management

The Service Now Auto Submit Policy Management service allows you to retrieve auto submit policies configured on Service Now, assign an auto submit policy to devices, and retrieve devices and events associated with an auto submit policy.

Auto Submit Filter Management

The Auto Submit Filter Management service allows you to create, retrieve details, delete and enable or disable an auto submit filter.

The Address Group Management service allows you to create, retrieve, update, and delete address groups. It also allows you to associate devices to an address group.

JMB Error Management

The JMB Error Management service allows you to retrieve, delete, and export JMBs with errors.

Device Analysis

The Device Analysis Management service allows you to analyze and validate the integrity of BIOS installed on a device running Junos OS. This service also allows you to view and accept the BIOS legal notice required prior to configuring BIOS validation on the device.

It also provides methods to view, export, and download product health data (PHD) collected from devices.

Product Health Data Collection Management REST API Overview

/api/juniper/servicenow/ phdc-management

The PHDC Management service allows you to configure, modify, retriev details and delete a Product Health Data Collection (PHDC) configuration from a device

You can also download the product health data collected from devices and export information related to the collected product health data to an Excel file.

E-mail Template Management REST API Overview

/api/juniper/servicenow/ emailTemplate-management

The E-mail Template Management service allows you to retrieve, modify, and restore e-mail templates.

Information Message Management

/api/juniper/servicenow/ information-management

The Information Management service allows you to retrieve, and assign information messages to users for ownership and delete the messages.

Certificate Management

On Service Now end customer installation, the Certificate Management service allows you to retrieve and add SSL certificates received from a Service Now partner.
