    Deleting Incident Filters

    Service Now provides the Delete action to delete an Incident filter.

    When an incident filter is deleted, the order of the remaining filters do not change, unless you reorder them. For example, when there are four filters with orders 1, 2, 3, and 4 and if the filter with order 3 is removed, the remaining filters have the orders 1,2, and 4.

    To delete an incident filter:

    1. In the Service Now navigation tree, click Administration > Incident Filters.

      The Incident Filters page appears.

    2. Select one or more filters that you want to delete and select Delete from the Actions or right-click menu.

      The Delete Incident Filters dialog box appears as shown in Figure 1.

    3. Click Delete to delete the selected filters or click Cancel to cancel deleting the filters.

      A message indicating that the filters are deleted successfully is displayed. The deleted filters are no longer listed on the Incident Filters page.
