Resolved Issues

The following issues are resolved in Junos Space Network Management Platform Release 16.1R1. The identifier following the description is the tracking number in the Juniper Networks Problem Report (PR) tracking system.

  • When you view the configuration, the set commands display extra keywords because of a mismatch during conversion from XML to CLI format. [PR1003848]
  • User sessions are not terminated even after the specified period of inactivity elapses. [PR1006742]
  • In Network Monitoring, the e-mail address of a user logging in as a remote user is modified; however, on the second login as a remote user, the e-mail address is cleared. [PR1036900]
  • For the inventory changes of QFX devices, Junos Space Platform records the changes in the free memory of the directors, instead of only identifying hardware changes. [PR1042237]
  • The template configuration is not retained after unpublishing and then republishing the template definition. [1059257]
  • A license file for Junos Space Platform that works on a VWware-based virtual machine cannot be uploaded on a kernel-based virtual machine (KVM). [PR1080876]
  • The audit result for the comparison of a device template against the managed device configuration does not list all the differences. [PR1097285]
  • You cannot configure the CPU voltage by using SNMP in the Network Monitoring workspace. [PR1101473]
  • An API user with permissions only to the Disable Users task (under the User Accounts task group) can access all the jobs of all users by using the job management API. [PR1132060]
  • If the same part number exists for more than one device platform type, Junos Space Platform displays an incorrect description for the SFP module. [PR1132581]
  • The DMI schema for Junos OS generates an incorrect syntax for the SNMP configuration when you use a template definition or quick template. [PR1133700]
  • On the Templates page (in the Device Templates workspace), the Last Update Time column is not searchable and does not have a filter. [PR1134682]
  • On the View Physical Inventory page, searching using the Description field does not return any search results. [PR1136003]
  • On the Config Files Management page (in the Configuration Files workspace), the Creation Date column is not searchable and does not have a filter. [PR1134700]
  • When you export all the physical inventory and there is a large amount of data, this slows down Junos Space Platform and the CPU load average is high during the export operation. [PR1136787]
  • Domains are not sorted in alphabetical order or in numerical order. [PR1137705]
  • When you attempt to configure class of service settings using Junos OS schema, Junos Space Platform generates incorrect configuration commands. [PR1137845]
  • In the Scripts page, searching using special characters (period, comma, or colon) on the Latest Revision field does not work properly. [PR1138700]
  • The Export Tags operation does not export all the tags selected. [PR1142159]
  • When you use CLI configlet with device family EX to deploy a template to an EX4300 device, the deployment fails indicating that no devices were found for the CLI configlet. [PR1142825]
  • On the Report Definitions page (in the Reports workspace), if you enter a search term that includes spaces, the spaces are removed, which leads to a wrong report being generated. [PR1142908]
  • When you generate reports that have a large amount of data, the report cannot be viewed or downloaded from the Junos Space Platform UI. [PR1144420]
  • If you generate a report and download the HTML version of the report, the downloaded ZIP file contains comma-separated values (CSV) and PDF reports in addition to the HTML report. [PR 1145093]
  • For MX Series devices configured as a virtual chassis, the temperature- and CPU-related graphs are not displayed in the Network Monitoring workspace. [PR1145885]
  • The Manufacturer field on the device hardware inventory page displays Juniper even when the small-form factor pluggable (SFP) module is not manufactured by Juniper Networks. [PR-1147825]
  • In the Archive/Purge Logs page (in the Audit Logs workspaces), if you select the Purge audit logs from all accessible domains check box and try to purge the audit logs, the audit logs belong to the system domain are not purged. [PR1158507]
  • In certificate-based authentication, Junos Space Platform does not ask the user for a certificate if the JSESSIONIDSSO and JxRunningBids cookies are present. Therefore, if a user tries to login when these cookies are present, then login module is invoked without the certificate and login fails. [PR1158628]
  • If you enable the firewall by using the Junos Space CLI, the firewall rules are not loaded as expected. [PR1158939]
  • The Apply Configlet job results contain multiple entries of the same parameters. [PR1163667]
  • If you configure invalid IP addresses for dedicated database nodes, you cannot correct the IP addresses. [PR1167488]
  • If you create a quick template with delete and set commands for the same attribute, the commands are not saved properly. [PR1168164]
  • The disk space on the root partition on Junos Space nodes is nearly used up. [PR1169483]
  • Deploying templates with device-specific values in the template definition results in an error. [PR1169541]
  • The admin password cannot be changed from the Junos Space Settings Menu or the jmp_setup menu when the criterion for the minimum number of days between password is still applicable. [PR1172723]
  • In a Junos Space fabric with two or more nodes, if the state of the node changes, the Fabric page (in the Administration workspace) does not display the updated status of the node for a few minutes. [PR1173173]
  • The API query GET /api/space/managed-domain/managed-elements/id delivers an unexpected value for the /managed-element/equipment-holders parameter. [PR1173658]
  • The remote database backup operation fails if the username contains a period. [PR1173979]
  • When a node is deleted from the Junos Space fabric, the Fabric page does not display the correct status of the load balancer Virtual IP (VIP). [PR1175225]
  • The chassis model number of the device is not the same as the midplane model number in the physical inventory of the device. [PR1176567]
  • The XML response of the API request GET /api/space/device-management/devices?filter=(name eq 'name') does not match the corresponding XML schema definition (XSD) vnd.net.juniper.space.device-management.devices;version=1.xsd. [PR1178771]
  • The API request GET /api/space/managed-domain/ptps/id using content-type "application/vnd.net.juniper.space.managed-domain.ptp+xml;version=1" does not contain the parameters ctps tree elements, deviceId, and description. [PR1178776]
  • The XML response of the API request GET /api/space/managed-domain/managed-elements/<element_id>/equipment-holders does not match the corresponding XSD vnd.net.juniper.space.managed-domain.equipment-holders;version=1. [PR1179055]
  • The XML response of the API request GET /api/space/managed-domain/managed-elements/<element_id> does not match with the corresponding XSD vnd.net.juniper.space.managed-domain.managed-element;version=1. [PR1179070]
  • For some CLI Configlets, the import operation fails. [PR1179526]
  • On some devices, the script execution jobs do not complete and remain at 10 percent progress. [PR1180022]
  • On the User Accounts page, searching on the Password Status column does not work. [PR1180733]
  • The sychronization of database backups between nodes in the Junos Space fabric takes a long time. [PR1183245]
  • Under certain conditions, a Junos Space node might be assigned tasks before it is ready, which causes jobs assigned to that node to fail. [PR1183967]
  • When you upload a script that contains previously uploaded elements that are unchanged, the upload job displays success for the unchanged content although no update is done. [PR1185465]
  • The maximum parameter length for CLI Configlets is limited to 1000 characters. [PR1185473]
  • In Junos Space Platform Release 15.2R2, the time taken to complete some tasks by using REST API is much higher than in the preceding release. [PR1186328]
  • The Fabric page (in the Administration workspace) freezes for approximately 20 minutes. [PR1188047]
  • Sessions of inactive users are not terminated properly and sessions remain active even users have logged out of Junos Space Platform. [PR1188131]
  • On the View Node Detail page, the time when the node was last rebooted is shown in UTC instead of GMT. [PR1189925]
  • If you authenticate users using certificate parameters and modify a parameter manually and then import parameters, the parameter is duplicated. [PR1189928]
  • When a remote user accesses the Network Monitoring workspace, the message Network Monitoring is initializing for this user is displayed. [PR1189964]
  • If you restore the database on a Junos Space setup running Junos Space Platform Release 15.2R2 with Connectivity Services Director installed, the Junos Space UI does not load. [PR1190300]
  • After upgrading to Junos Space Platform Release 15.2, new users and users whose password is changed have problems in accessing the Network Monitoring workspace. [PR1190692]
  • If you set the maximum retry timeout to a value less than 1000 milliseconds, Junos Space Platform does not send the RADIUS client request to a different RADIUS server (previously configured in Junos Space). [PR1192016]
  • A report generated for audit logs does not display the audit log ID (ID field) when exported. [PR1193372]
  • On the Fabric page, the Application Logic (App Logic) node status is displayed as Deploying. [PR1194746]
  • On the Images page (Images and Scripts workspace), SRX320, SRX340, and SRX345 devices are not displayed in the image deployment list. [PR1197581]
  • User sessions that are established by using the Junos Space Platform API are not terminated when the session times out. [PR1198153]
  • The health of the Disaster Recovery setup is DR health shown as good although the database restore failed. [PR1198966]
  • You cannot compare a template that contains regular expressions with the configuration on the device. [PR1201233]
  • When Junos Space Platform discovers a device by using its hostname, it does not use the the IPv6 address by default. [PR1204325]
  • If the vendor part number of a device contains special characters, you cannot view the physical inventory for that device (on the Device Management page). [PR1204845].
  • Junos Space Platform is unable to manage an ACX5000 device because of an error due to the license. [PR1208006]
  • If you attempt to upload or delete three CA/CRL certificates one by one, the Junos Space Platform UI is stuck in maintenance mode. [PR1208458]
  • The average load of the nodes in the Junos Space fabric experiences periodic or intermittent spikes, which causes performance issues such as an inaccessible GUI. [PR1208604]
  • Changing the VIP address from the Junos Space CLI fails when the fabric is configured with both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses (dual stack). [PR1214529]
  • If you create a quick template that contains hidden configuration statements, the configuration statements are marked invalid but are accepted by the device. [PR1213667]
  • For quick templates, the CLI-based Template Editor does not accept configuration commands that do not contain certain keywords even though the commands are accepted on the device. [PR1215493]
  • When you have a Junos Space setup with different Junos Space applications installed (for example, Network Director and Service Automation), in the Network Management workspace, the node link detailed information of the nodes does not load. [PR1216594]
  • If a purging policy has a large number of objects to be purged, it can result in a heap dump on all nodes. [PR1218186]
  • If you run the mysql on the Junos Space CLI of a Junos Space virtual appliance after altering the partition size, a permission denied error is generated. [PR1228159]
  • An increase in cache memory over a period causes high memory leakage. [PR1231692]
