    Configuring Public Address Pools

    This topic describes how to configure public IP address pools using the Selfcare Portal. Public IP address pools are used by cCPE customers for services such as NAT and firewall. This topic is intended for service providers.

    To configure public IP address pools:

    1. In the Selfcare Portal task pane, select Administration > Resource Management.

      The Resource Management page appears in the content pane.

    2. Select the Public Addresses tab.

      The Public Addresses page is displayed, an example of which is shown in Figure 1.

    3. In the Name/Description group box, select the Add (+) icon.

      A new row is added to the Name/Description group box.

    4. In the Name field, specify a name for the address pool.
    5. In the Description field, specify a description for the address pool.
    6. In the Source Identifier Tag group box, select the Add (+) icon.

      A list of routers is displayed in the Source Identifier Tag group box.

    7. From the list of routers, select the name of the router managing the address pool.
    8. In the Port Range Low field, specify the lowest port number for the address pool.
    9. In the Port Range High field, specify the highest port number for the address pool.
    10. In the IP Range Low/IP Range High group box, select the Add (+) icon.

      A new row is added to the IP Range Low/IP Range High group box.

    11. In the IP Range Low field, specify the lowest IP address in the pool.
    12. In the IP Range High field, specify the highest IP address in the pool.
    13. Select Update to save your changes.
