    Configuring DHCP Relay Agent Options

    This procedure describes how to configure a DHCP relay agent options using the Selfcare Portal.

    Note: For a VPN site, you can configure either DHCP server or DHCP relay, but not both. You can configure DHCP server in one site and DHCP relay at other sites can point to the DHCP server. Alternatively, you can configure the MX Series router DHCP relay option to point to a DHCP server located at your site.

    To configure your DHCP relay agent using the Selfcare Portal:

    1. In the Selfcare Portal task pane, select Administration > Site Configuration.

      The Site Configuration page is displayed.

    2. From the Site selection list, select the site for which you want to configure the DHCP relay agent.
    3. Select the DHCP Relay tab.

      The DHCP Relay page is displayed showing the IP addresses of any configured target DHCP servers.

    4. (Optional) Add a new target DHCP server:
      1. In the DHCP Server Addresses group box, select the Add (+) icon.

        A new row is added to the DHCP Server Addresses group box.

      2. Select the new row and specify the IP address of the new target DHCP server.

      Note: You can configure a maximum of five target DHCP servers.

    5. (Optional) Delete a target DHCP server:
      1. In the DHCP Server Addresses group box, select the IP address of the target DHCP server you want to delete.
      2. Select the (-) Delete icon.
    6. Select Update to save your changes.
