    Configuring Site Access Links in the Cloud CPE Selfcare Application for MX Series Routers

    This topic describes how to configure customer access links in cCPE Selfcare Application. This procedure is intended for service providers.

    Before you can configure an access link, you first need to:

    1. Configure the MX Series router, routing instance, and logical interface you want to use for the access link. You can configure these settings using any of following methods.

    2. Create the cCPE customer. See Creating Customers in the Cloud CPE Selfcare Application for MX Series Routers.
    3. Create the customer site associated with the access link. See Creating Customer Sites in the Cloud CPE Selfcare Application for MX Series Routers.

    To configure site access links using cCPE Selfcare Application:

    1. In the Selfcare Portal task pane select Administration > Customer Management > Add Access Link.

      The Add Access Link dialog box is displayed, an example of which is shown in Figure 1.

    2. From the Customer selection list, select the customer you want to create the access link for.

      The list of available customers is controlled by the Create Customer task. For information on creating customers, see Creating Customers in the Cloud CPE Selfcare Application for MX Series Routers.

    3. From the Site selection list, select the customer site you want to create the access link for.

      The list of available sites is controlled by the Add Site task. For information on adding customer sites, see Creating Customer Sites in the Cloud CPE Selfcare Application for MX Series Routers.

    4. In the Access Link Name field, specify a name for the access link.

      This field is visible to customers and can be modified by them.

    5. (Optional) In the Description field, specify a description for the access link.

      This field is visible to customers and can be modified by them.

    6. From the Devices list, select the name of the MX Series router that you want to provide the access link.

      This field is not visible to customers.

    7. From the Routing Instances list, select the routing instance associated with the site’s access link.

      This field is not visible to customers.

    8. From the Interfaces list, select the logical interface you want to use to provide the access link.

      This field is not visible to customers.

    9. Select Create to save your changes.
