    Configuring SNMP to Monitor cCPE Sites Using the Selfcare Portal

    You can monitor your cCPE site using SNMP. The cCPE Selfcare portal provides ready-only access to site information.

    Note: To monitor your cCPE site using SNMP, your service provider must preconfigure the SNMP view on the PE router associated with your site and configure SNMP under the Administration > Application task group in the Junos Space Network Management Platform. See SNMP Monitoring for cCPE Services Overview.

    To monitor your site using SNMP:

    1. From the main page of the Selfcare portal, select Administration > Site Configuration > Service Management.

      The Service Management SNMP page is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

    2. Select the site for which you want to configure SNMP read-only access from the Site selection field.
    3. Select the Community name defined by your service provider from the Community field. The default name is “ccperead.”
    4. To add a private IP address to the list of allowed clients, select the Add icon and specify the private IP address of the client.
    5. To delete a private IP address from the list of allowed clients, select the IP address and then select the Delete icon.
    6. Select Update to save your changes to the database.
