hidden

Syntax:

       hidden [dangerous|default|deprecated|from-cli|from-gui|from-xml|guru| internal|support|unconditional|unreleased]

Mode: Configuration Mode

Description:

hidden commands are not visible to users. It can be applied to both objects or attributes (for simplicity, only object will be used henceforth). The object needs to be spelled out completely for it to be configured, and auto-completion does not show the object or attribute as a valid option. Once the object is spelled out, however, auto-completion does work for any other subordinate object.

One or more reason needs to be specified for the hidden object. The reasons are additive. Valid reason values are

Currently, all the hidden conditions except from-xml hide the entity from the CLI.

            hidden internal;
            help "Newbo section";

            help "Newbie section";
        }

        user@router# set new?
