Changing the Root Password on Your JSA Risk Manager


As a good security practice, change the root password on your JSA Risk Manager host at regular intervals.

  1. Use SSH to log in to your JSA console as the root user.
  2. Type the user name and password for the root user.

    The user name and password are case-sensitive.

  3. From your JSA console, use SSH to log in to your JSA Risk Manager as the root user.
  4. Use the passwd command to change your password.
