Change Your Designer Tools Password

Caution Do not change your password in Designer Tools. Instead, use Administration Portal to change your password.

Users with the SP (Service Provider) Administrator role can access Designer Tools by using the username and password that they use to log in to the Contrail Service Orchestration (CSO) Administration and Customer Portals. Therefore, if you change your password in Designer Tools, the password change is also applicable to the CSO Administration and Customer Portals.

Procedure

To change your password:

Click the username on the right of the Designer Tools banner.
A drop-down list appears.
Click Change Password.
The Change Password page appears.
Change your password following the guidelines provided in Table 3.
Click OK.
You are logged out of the system. To log in to the GUI again, you must use your new password. Other sessions logged in with the same username are unaffected until the next login.

Current Password	Enter your existing password.
New Password	Enter the new password, which must: Contain at least one number, one special character, one uppercase, and one lowercase letter. Be at least 6 characters long but not longer than 21 characters.
Confirm Password	Enter the new password for confirmation. Note: Select the Show Password check box to view the password and clear the check box to mask the password.
