About the Sites Page
To access this page, click Sites > Site Management.
You can use the Sites page to view existing sites and to create different type of sites such as spoke site, gateway site, and hub site for the SD-WAN and hybrid WAN deployment. You can also use this page to view site configuration and device activation information.
Tasks You Can Perform
You can perform the following tasks from this page:
View information about a site. Click the details icon that appears when you hover over the name of a site or click More > Detailed View. See Viewing Object Details.
Click on the site name to view the site details and to manage the site configurations for a single site. See Managing a Single Site.
Configure a site by uploading a JSON file. See Importing Multiple Sites
View device activation logs. Click Device Activation Logs. See Viewing the History of Tenant Device Activation Logs.
Add the following sites for a Hybrid WAN topology:
Spoke site. See Adding Spoke Sites for Hybrid WAN Deployment
Local service edge site. See Adding Local Service Edge Sites for Hybrid WAN Deployment
Regional service edge site. See Adding Regional Service Edge Sites for Hybrid WAN Deployment
Add the following sites for an SD-WAN topology:
On-premise spoke site. See Adding On-Premise Spoke Sites for SD-WAN Deployment
Gateway site. See Adding Gateway Sites for SD-WAN Deployments
Cloud hub site. See Adding Cloud Hub Sites for SD-WAN Deployment
Cloud spoke site. See Adding Cloud Spoke Sites for SD-WAN Deployment
Upgrade one or more sites. See Upgrading Sites.
Delete a site. Select a site and click the delete icon (X).
Configure a site. See Configuring a Single Site.
Field Descriptions
Table 1 describes the fields on the Sites page.

Field | Description |
---|---|
Alert Icon | Displays an alert associated with the site. The alert can be critical (indicated by a red icon), major (indicated by an orange icon), or minor (indicated by a yellow icon). Note: The alert icon is displayed only if there is an alert associated with the site. If there is no alert, no icon is displayed. |
Site Name | Displays the name of the tenant site. Click the name of the site to go to the Site-Name page where you can view the site details and configure parameters related to the site. See Managing a Single Site. |
Location | Displays the location of the tenant site. |
Sites Connected To | Displays the number of sites to which the site is connected or N/A (not applicable) if no sites are connected. Mouse over the number to view the list of sites to which the site is connected. |
Is Gateway Site | Displays whether a site is a gateway site (green check icon) or not (N/A). |
Operational Status | Indicates the operational status (Up or Down) of the site. |
Type | Indicates whether a site is an on-premise site or a cloud site. |
Site Status | Displays the current status of the site:

Role | Indicates whether the site is a hub site or a spoke site. |
Active Services | Displays the number of active services configured for the site. |
Local Breakout | Indicates whether local breakout is enabled for at least one WAN link of the site. If it is enabled for at least one WAN link, the number of links on which local breakout is enabled is also displayed. Mouse over the number to view the list of links on which local breakout is enabled. |
Auto-NAT | For WAN links on which local breakout is enabled, indicates whether Autocreate Source NAT Rule is enabled. If enabled, the number of links on which it is enabled is also displayed. Mouse over the number to view the list of links on which the automatic creation of source NAT rule is enabled. |
Site Version | Indicates the Contrail Service Orchestration (CSO) version in which the site was added. |
