Adding Tenant Users

Use this page to add tenant users and assign roles to users. After the tenant administrator adds the user, the user account is created in the Contrail Service Orchestration (CSO) and the user receives an e-mail with the initial login credentials.

Note Users with the Tenant Operator role have read-only access to Customer Portal and APIs, and they cannot add new users.

Procedure

To add a tenant user:

  1. Select Administration > Users.

    The Users page appears.

  2. Click the add icon (+) or click Add User.

    The Add User page appears.

  3. Complete the configuration as described in Table 188.
  4. Click OK to save the changes. If you want to discard the changes, click Cancel instead.

The tenant user account is created in CSO.

To enhance the security related to login credentials, an automatically generated password is sent to the e-mail address that you have specified on the Add User page. You are prompted to change the password when you login to the portal with the automatically generated password. For more information about changing the password on first login, see Changing the Password on First Login.
