Supported Network Elements and Devices

 

PSM supports the display and processing of alarms for the following:

  • BTI7800 Series network elements

  • BTI7000 Series network elements

  • BTI800 Series network elements

  • BTI700 Series network elements

  • MX Series and PTX Series routers

  • QFX Series switches

MX Series, PTX Series, and QFX Series Alarms

Not all MX Series and PTX Series and QFX Series alarms are reported by PSM. PSM reports the following alarms for these devices:

  • Chassis alarms

  • Link down

  • Optical diagnostics (from JUNIPER-DOM-MIB)

  • OTN (from JUNIPER-OTN-MIB)

Addtionally, severities for chassis alarms are mapped as follows:
