    Parameter

    Description

    Range

    Default Value

    condition_type

    The condition type or fault

    See Alarms and Conditions.

    None

    disable

    Disables the specified fault.

When a fault is disabled, the fault is not alarmed and does not appear in the output of the show alarms or show conditions command.

By default, all faults are enabled.

    severity

    The severity of the fault

critical: A fault that is likely causing serious loss or interruption of traffic.

major: A fault that can potentially lead to loss or interruption of traffic.

minor: A fault that does not significantly affect traffic.

not-alarmed: A fault that results in a standing condition, not an alarm. The fault does not appear in the output of the show alarms command.

not-reported: A fault's severity is set to not-reported when it is being masked by another alarm. An alarm might be masked if it does not best isolate the fault causing the failure. The fault does not appear in the output of the show alarms command. This severity is assigned automatically, and is typically not set by the user.

    See Alarms and Conditions.
