    The JNAA program’s modular approach allows your college or university to build a partnership model unique to its needs.

    EDUCATION: Expose students to Juniper technology by including course modules in current curriculum.

    Our aim is to provide instructors a variety of course material that they can incorporate into their curriculum in ways which they see fit. Members have access to Juniper-authored training materials that can be used as a resource to augment their current courses and curriculum, along with discounts on Juniper Networks products (for use as lab equipment) including our innovative virtual lab infrastructure, or member hosted enviroments (using our vSRX and vMX platforms).

    GOALS: Incorporate Juniper Networks Technologies, products and training materials into your current curriculum. This naturally builds to Juniper Networks professional certification opportunities in several of the learning paths that make up Juniper Networks' Certification Program.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Institute must be an accredited learning institution: this tier is open to establishments such as vocational or community colleges, universities, military, and some selected non-profit industry organizations.

    • Provide periodic reports of student numbers exposed to Juniper technology.

    • Teach a predetermined number of students yearly.

  • Research

    RESEARCH: Innovative research opportunities from undergraduate projects to formal academic research.

    This component of the JNAA program gives institutions the opportunity to engage with an industry leader at a variety of levels. The idea here is to provide students and their instructors the chance to work with Juniper on problems that will either test their abilities and give them additional opportunities to learn and grow, or in the case of a university researcher, provide them with a channel to collaborate with industry including Juniper Networks, and potentially some of our customers as well.

    GOALS: Allow high caliber students to collaborate with Juniper Networks to find solutions to real world problem as part of a university approved project. Give University researchers the opportunity to partner with an industry leader to break ground on new ideas.

    BENEFITS:

    • Support and engagement with Juniper Networks Teams.

    • Qualifying projects will receive direct engagement from Juniper Networks’ Research and Development organizations, and may even be eligible for funding.

    • Discounts on lab equipment for teaching and/or access to Juniper hosted virtual lab environments.

    • Students gain experience using their skills in a practical setting.
