SBR Global Enterprise Edition includes all the features and benefits of SBR Enterprise Edition, plus the following:
- Increased session and connection control: SBR GE features such as account lockout and account blacklisting, and time-of-day and session time limits deliver increased control over who can connect to the network, when, and for how long.
- Authentication insurance: The round robin authentication and accounting, and failover features of SBR GE ensure that users will be authenticated prior to network access even if primary servers and appliances or authentication stores are unavailable for any reason.

- SBR GE for Solaris™ runs on Sun Solaris 9 (SPARC Platform Edition 8/03 or later) or Sun Solaris 10 (SPARC Platform Edition 3/05 or later) on an UltraSPARC processor.
- SBR GE for Linux runs on the 32-bit versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES or AS 4.0 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES or AS 4.5.
SBR GE is administered via a web-based administration program which runs from any supported platform accessible through any supported Web browser (Internet Explorer®, Netscape Navigator®, Firefox®).
