    Overview

    The TX Matrix Plus is the central switch fabric that interconnects up to four 4 T4000s, 8 T1600s, or a hybrid configuration of T4000s and T1600s into a single routing entity with 32 to 64 slots and a sustainable throughput rate of up to 22 Tbps.

    It scales as more ports are added when routers and slots are connected to the center stage fabric over its optical interfaces. The TX Matrix Plus expands network capacity with non-blocking bandwidth, increasing equipment lifespan and reducing CapEx, and enabling operators to seamlessly grow networks amidst explosive traffic growth.

    Designed with no single point of failure, and utilizing the same system design and robust Junos OS as Juniper routing platforms, TX Matrix Plus is designed from the ground up to achieve the highest levels of system availability.
