Juniper Network Responsibilities

Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide documentation indicating equipment installation location
  • Provide Juniper notification of site readiness to install seven days prior to dispatch
  • Provide unobstructed, continuous access to sites and systems
  • If there is a specific required training or certification needed by installation teams to access any facility, notify Juniper prior to issuing the PO
  • Prepare the site and manage service on-site
  • Provide all facilities equipment, lighting and common systems, connecting appliances, and other support materials needed for installation
  • Pre-install all cables being provided and label to include the circuit locations
  • Sign off on completed work (Completion Certificate - CC)

 

Installation Deliverables

  • Physically installed Juniper device.

Feature Feature Description Benefit
Equipment preparation Juniper installers will move equipment from a storage area to your installation location, and unpack, inspect, and inventory the Juniper products to be installed. Leverages Juniper’s consistent quality delivery process and scalability to reduce risk of error during equipment installation.
Equipment installation Juniper installers ensure that equipment is installed per Juniper hardware installation requirements and your requirements. Allows you to deploy complex products and technologies efficiently with fewer complications. Shortens the interval between network installation and revenue generation on the network.
Project hand-over and sign-off Juniper installers complete the walk-through and hand over all documentation and materials to you after installation. They request your acceptance and sign-off of the physical installation. Optimize your resources and reduce your operating expenditure associated with recruiting, training, and retaining skilled installation personnel. Juniper’s knowledgeable, experienced, and fully equipped installation resources allow your staff to focus on business-critical activities.
Project management input for Juniper service deliverables Juniper will assign a Professional Services Consultant to serve as a single point of contact to assist you with the administration and management of Juniper service deliverables. Reduces the risk to your project by engaging experienced project management capabilities. The Professional Services Consultant will make sure that the Juniper service deliverables are delivered on time and as agreed.
