Paul McEwen
Group Head of Technology Services, UBS

Paul joined UBS in March 2014. He’s a member of the Group Technology Leadership Executive Committee and is responsible for implementing transformational change in the Infrastructure Services organization, and evolving and improving services in line with the overall Group Technology strategy. Paul’s main strategic objective is building a world-class Infrastructure Services group within UBS, focused on delivering service-based offerings via automated and standard platforms for technology colleagues and business partners alike.

Professional History
Paul has more than 20 years’ experience in technology and operations, and more than 7 years working in technology infrastructure. He’s managed large, complex departments and multiple organizational units in a global technology environment.

Prior to joining UBS, Paul spent several years with JPMorgan where he was responsible for Global Client Technology Service. He worked with business partners to develop standardized, resilient operating environments for the firm’s 300,000 end users, and managed an annual budget of $560 million.

Earlier, Paul worked at Citigroup managing the Global Applications Development Unit where he was responsible for improving and automating projects to deliver quality, cost-effective client services, and implementing ITIL best practices for Service Support and Deliver.
