Korean Service Provider Expands Network Capacity with High-Performance Juniper Networks T-series Core Routers
Hanaro Telecom Selects T-series for Superior Scalability and Rich JUNOS Features to Support IPTV and Multiplay Services
SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 21, 2008 -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that Korea's Hanaro Telecom has scaled network capacity with Juniper Networks T-series core routers. Traffic growth, driven by increased subscriber demand for IPTV and other multiplay services, compelled Hanaro to increase capacity with Juniper Networks T-series, which offer a unique, non-disruptive upgrade path to multi-terabit capacity. Hanaro selected the T-series for its superior investment protection, low total cost of ownership and the proven stability and rich feature set of Juniper's JUNOS software.
