Juniper Networks ISG 1000 Receives Network World's Prestigious Clear Choice Designation
SUNNYVALE, Calif., December 6, 2007 -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that the Juniper Networks Integrated Security Gateway (ISG) 1000 received Network World's prestigious Clear Choice designation in the Unified Threat Management (UTM) Firewall review tests category. The Juniper Networks ISG 1000 is featured in the November 12, 2007 issue of Network World and on Network World Online, at http://www.networkworld.com/reviews/2007/111207-utm-firewall-test.html.
"Overall, we found that the ISG 1000 was the best general-purpose firewall in our tests when we coupled it with intrusion prevention system (IPS) coverage," wrote Joel Snyder, a security analyst with Opus One and the author of the Network World Clear Choice Test article.
