Pakistan Private Asset Management Company Builds Strategic Network with Juniper Networks High-Performance Network Infrastructure
Routing, Security and Application Acceleration Solutions Enhance Branch Infrastructure
SUNNYVALE, Calif., September 26, 2007 – Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that JS Investments Ltd.(formerly JS ABAMCO), one of Pakistan's largest private asset base management companies, has deployed a new high-performance IP/MPLS network infrastructure based upon Juniper's routing, security and application acceleration solutions. JS Investments Ltd.'s upgraded network is designed to provide fast, reliable and secure links across the company's branch network, in support of key applications that underpin its business operations and disaster recovery planning. Premier Systems Pvt. Ltd, a local Juniper J-Partner, deployed the network.

JS Investments Ltd. has deployed Juniper Networks J-series services routers across its regional offices to create its MPLS branch network. To secure the network effectively, JS Investments Ltd. also deployed a range of Juniper's security solutions including the Juniper Networks Secure Services Gateway appliances, NetScreen-5GT integrated firewall/VPN solutions, Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) products and Secure Access SSL VPN remote access solutions. Mission critical business applications running across the network, including Enterprise Resource Planning and an Online Unit Base Management system, are being accelerated by the Juniper Networks WXC application acceleration platform for optimal performance. The integrated firewall/VPNs, IDP and WXC products are also deployed on the links between JS Investment's Ltd. branch network and its disaster recovery site, to ensure that back-up traffic is efficiently compressed and secured.
