JUNIPER NETWORKS RECEIVES “INNOVATION ALL-STAR” AWARD FROM CALIFORNIA INNOVATION CORRIDOR PARTNERS
Company Recognized for IT Market Leadership, Demonstrated Commitment to Innovation and Positive Impact on California's Economy
SUNNYVALE, Calif., April 26, 2007 – Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that it has been named a California Tech 100 "Innovation All-Star" award winner for its commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and workforce competitiveness. The distinction, awarded by the California Innovation Corridor and the California Commission on Jobs and Economic Development, was presented to Juniper Networks and fourteen other Innovation All-Stars at the California Tech 100 Conference.

The California Tech 100, a California Innovation Corridor project endorsed by Governor Schwarzenegger's distinguished California Commission for Jobs and Economic Growth, selected Juniper Networks from more than 325 competitors nominated across nine high technology sectors.
"We believe innovation and entrepreneurship are the drivers of economic growth in California," added Mark Mosher, executive director for the California Commission for Jobs and Economic Growth, a nonprofit corporation whose members are chosen by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to advise him on how to expand jobs and economic growth in the state. "These Innovation All-Stars are models for our state."
Managed by the California Space Authority, and administered through the California Labor & Workforce Development Agency, the California Innovation Corridor is one of the state's initiatives to foster innovation and includes more than 60 partner organizations throughout 13 counties. Corridor partners reviewed nearly 300 nominees before reducing the list of 75 Innovation All-Stars.
