Network Computing Crowns Juniper Networks with Coveted "Well-Connected" Award for Enterprise Firewall
Integrated Security Gateway with Intrusion Prevention Outperforms Competition in Real-World Evaluation
SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 2, 2006 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR) today announced that its ISG 2000 integrated firewall and virtual private network (VPN) appliance with intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) has been chosen by CMP Media LLC's Network Computing as the Well-Connected award recipient in the Enterprise Firewall category. The Juniper Networks ISG 2000 with IDP was crowned ahead of the competition for its purpose-built platform that seamlessly integrates multi-gigabyte firewall, VPN and intrusion prevention capabilities with low latency and broad in-depth attack coverage at both the network and application layer.
