Juniper Networks Protects Customers from New Critical Microsoft Vulnerability Disclosed Today

Juniper Networks IDP Systems Protect Against Network-Based Attacks

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Dec. 13, 2005 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall and virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to protect customers against the new critical Microsoft vulnerability announced today.

Juniper Networks' IDP systems, running operating code versions 3.0r4 and above, and the ISG firewall/VPN systems with IDP provide coverage for MS05-054, a Cumulative Security Update for Microsoft Internet Explorer.
