Juniper Networks Protects Customers Against New Microsoft Windows Vulnerability Disclosed Today

Juniper Networks IDP Systems Protect Against Network-Based Attacks

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 8, 2005 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall and virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to protect against the new Microsoft vulnerability announced today.

Juniper Networks' IDP systems, running operating code versions 3.0r4 and above, and the ISG firewall/VPN systems with IDP are able to provide coverage for MS05-053, a vulnerability in the Graphics Rendering Engine that could allow code execution.
