Juniper Networks Continues to Lead in High-End Firewall/VPN and SSL VPN Markets

(Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that Infonetics Research, Inc. has recognized Juniper Networks as the market share leader in the high-end Firewall (FW) and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Virtual Private Network (VPN) markets in 2Q05. The September 2005 Infonetics Research report titled "Network Security Appliances and Software Quarterly Worldwide Market Share and Forecasts for 2Q05" states that Juniper Networks garnered 35 percent revenue market share within the high-end (Greater than or equal to $30,000 price band) FW/VPN product category and garnered 36 percent revenue market share within the SSL VPN product category during the second quarter of 2005.
