Juniper Networks Continues to Lead in Key Security Technology Markets

Infonetics Research Recognizes Juniper Networks As The SSL VPN Product Market Share Leader And A Leader In In-line Intrusion Detection And Prevention

(Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that it continues to be the market share leader in the Secure Sockets Layer Virtual Private Network (SSL VPN) market, according to Infonetics Research, Inc.'s recent report titled: "Network Security Appliances and Software Quarterly Worldwide Market Share and Forecasts for 4Q04." According to the report, Juniper Networks garnered 42 percent revenue market share within the SSL VPN product category during the fourth quarter of 2004 and 46 percent revenue market share for the full year. The report forecast the SSL VPN market to reach $554 million by CY08.
