Juniper Networks Showcases VoIP Solutions at Fall VON 2004 Conference & Expo
Company Exhibiting in Booth No. 1001; Demonstrates Solutions with Avaya and Siemens

What: Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) will showcase its industry-leading portfolio of networking and security solutions that enable highly reliable and secure Voice over IP (VoIP) applications. These solutions transform the business of networking by creating competitive advantages for customers.
Demonstrations at VON will include Juniper Networks infrastructure solutions, such as the E-, M- and T-series routing platforms; and security solutions, such as Juniper Networks NetScreen firewall and IPSec VPN products.
In addition, Juniper Networks and Siemens will showcase the results of their collaboration to deliver carrier-grade packet voice services with a demonstration of the RESIPTM(Resilient IP Networks) solution. The demonstration will show multiple network scenarios, such as a router overload, router failure and fiber cut, and illustrate how traffic is re-routed in the network without impact on voice quality.
Further, Juniper Networks and Avaya will showcase a secure small and medium enterprise VoIP demonstration that highlights integration between the recent release of Juniper Networks ScreenOS, the security products operating system, and the Avaya IP Office converged communication system for small and medium businesses. The demonstration will include dynamically opening and closing of firewall ports via H.323 ALGs, dynamic routing between devices, high availability schemes and other features of ScreenOS and the Avaya IP Office.
