Juniper Networks Positioned in the Leader Quadrant of IPSec VPN Equipment Magic Quadrant
Company Evaluated on Vision and Execution
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 28, 2004 - Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced it has been recognized in a recently released research report published by Gartner, Inc., a leading worldwide research and advisory firm. Juniper is positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in Gartner Inc.'s IPSec virtual private network (VPN) equipment Magic Quadrant.
According to Gartner, Inc., leaders are vendors who are performing well today, have a clear vision for market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market. The report, entitled: "MQ for IPsec VPN Equipment, 20041", summarized evaluation of more than 15 vendors in the IPSec VPN equipment market based on the following criteria: enterprise focus and commitment, security and networking vision, partnership vision, financial commitment, product capabilities, distribution and support, and market position and mind share.
