Motorola Broadband Joins the Juniper Networks Infrastructure Alliance

SUNNYVALE, Calif., December 2, 2003—Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) Broadband Communications Sector, has joined the Juniper Networks Infrastructure Alliance. The alliance will enable the companies to work together to enhance the interoperability between Juniper Networks' IP-based products and Motorola Broadband's industry-leading broadband solutions.

"We're pleased to name Motorola Broadband as the newest member of the Juniper Networks Infrastructure Alliance. Motorola's broadband solutions are a perfect complement to Juniper Networks' IP-based products, and together, represent an opportunity for broadband providers to increase per-subscriber revenues through expanded offerings of multi-media services over IP," commented Jim Dolce, executive vice president, Worldwide Field Operations, Juniper Networks.
