Wind Selects Juniper Networks to Deliver Internet Scalability with IP Core Routers
Juniper Networks Certified as Wind's Privilege Partner for OC-192c-capable Core Routers

(Nasdaq: JNPR), a leading provider of next-generation IP infrastructure systems, today announced that Wind®, a second national carrier in Italy, has selected Juniper Networks M160 Internet backbone routers to provide its core IP backbone throughout Italy.

Wind commented: The choice of Juniper Networks as a Wind partner was a breeze. The next step of Wind Italian Internet router rollout involves additional strategic and technological alliances with Juniper Networks, including the deployment of additional Juniper Networks M-series Internet routers for the Wind-wide IP backbone.
