DEC 2010 Optimize Your network for Profitable Content Delivery
Increasing end user demand for anywhere-anytime access to rich media content is driving a surge in bandwidth demand on the network. The traditional content delivery model, which transports content from an off-network location through the entire network to the end user, consumes far too much bandwidth to be sustainable over time. Worse, it puts the customer's satisfaction at risk by creating the opportunity for latency and network congestion to wreak havoc with the quality of experience. That's why Juniper Networks developed Content Direct, a smarter, more scalable foundation for content delivery services.
