Lauren Flaherty
Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Lauren has a track record for both building and restoring global brands. Currently, she is responsible for overseeing the full breadth of Juniper's global marketing activities. In this role, she reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the Executive Committee. Since joining Juniper in 2009, she has led a transformation that is successfully reshaping the company's image and position in the market. Before joining Juniper, Lauren was CMO of Nortel Networks and prior to that she spent 26 years at one of the world's great brands, IBM. Throughout the '90s, a period that defined IBM's reinvention, she led worldwide advertising in a role that was at the forefront of defining global marketing as we know it today. Her experience spans 30 years of product and corporate marketing and she has led multiple Olympic Games campaigns. Lauren has been recognized four times by BtoB Magazine as one of the World's Best Marketers and in 2011 AdvertisingAge recognized her in their annual Women To Watch review. She is a chair and active member of the CMO Executive Summit and a member of the CMO Council Advisory Board. Lauren holds a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University and is married with two children. |
