  • Senior Vice President, Customer Services and Support

    Alex Gray leads the Customer Services and Support organization at Juniper Networks, which includes responsibility for Juniper Technical Assistance Centers (JTAC), the advanced and professional services portfolio, service supply chain, and escalated account management and resolution. With its direct customer-facing responsibilities, Alex’s team provides the services that enable Juniper’s customers to maximize the value of their networks and operate them reliably and efficiently.

    Alex joined Juniper in 2008, where he led the Branch Solutions Business Unit and was responsible for the introduction of the Branch SRX Series Services Gateways. In 2010, he transitioned to the Ethernet Switching Business Unit and drove the acquisition of Trapeze Networks. In early 2011, Alex led the formation of the Campus and Branch Business Unit, transitioning Juniper’s switching and branch teams into the newly formed organization. In mid 2012, Alex assumed responsibility for customer support. This role was expanded in mid 2013 to include customer services, resulting in the formation of the Customer Services and Support organization.

    Prior to joining Juniper, Alex was chief operating officer at Extreme Networks for five years, where his responsibilities included customer service, engineering, and operations. Alex also served as chief operating officer for LCG Wireless and SVP Business Operations for ReplayTV. Earlier in his career, Alex held various executive roles with Octel Communications and Lucent Technologies including CIO, SVP Business Operations, and SVP and GM of Enterprise Messaging.

    Alex holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
