Benefits for Employees Residing in the U.S.
We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to meet the varying needs of our employees. These benefits are an integral part of our total compensation package and provide employees and their eligible dependents with valuable protection.
Savings Plans
401(K) Plan
A 401(k) plan is a retirement plan that allows employees to set aside a portion of their income for retirement. Employees are eligible on their first day of employment.
Juniper Networks matches 25% of all employee elective deferrals based on eligible pay. All contributions, including our matching contributions, are immediately 100% vested.
Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
The Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) allows employees to share in Juniper Networks' success by providing the opportunity to acquire shares of Juniper Networks common stock at a discount of 15% of the fair market value on either the first or the last day of the offering period, whichever is lower. Employees can invest between 1% and 10% of their base salary.
Health Plans
Regular employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for Juniper Networks' health plan coverage.
In addition, eligible dependents may be enrolled in the medical, dental, vision, and supplemental life insurance plans. Eligible dependents include:
Medical
Juniper Networks offers a variety of medical plans through CIGNA, Kaiser Northern California and Mid-Atlantic, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts.
Our medical plans do not contain pre-existing condition clauses. All employees and their eligible dependents can take advantage of the full range of benefits covered under our health plans.
Dental
Delta Premier, Juniper Networks' dental plan, is administered by Delta Dental and offers the flexibility to see any licensed dental provider.
Vision
Juniper Networks vision plan, administered by Vision Service Plan (VSP), covers lenses, frames, and contact lenses.

Paid Time Off
Juniper Networks provides paid time off (PTO) for regular full-time and part-time employees. PTO is paid time away from work for vacation, illness, outside activities, or personal business. Employees begin earning PTO on their first day at Juniper.
