Tina Herrera
Tina is a seasoned manager of both technology and market development with nearly a decade of WLAN experience. She leads the go to market planning and execution for Juniper’s WLAN Portfolio, driving thought leadership, facilitating up-sell and cross-sell marketing opportunities with the broader Enterprise portfolio and enabling our field and partners to achieve our business goals.
Tina has held leadership positions at NASA, Cisco Systems, Meru Networks and Volare Consulting Corp where she consulted with C-level executives across a variety of industries and technologies. While at Meru Networks, Tina developed their healthcare solutions market and led overall product marketing, helping the company achieve IPO. Prior to Meru, Tina spent 7 years at Cisco in a variety of roles, starting in Cisco IOS and culminating in a group manager position in the Wireless LAN business unit. Through her team, she led and was responsible for technology and channel partner marketing, operations, and commercial segment marketing. She also contributed to WLAN theater marketing efforts in APAC and managed the Wireless Integrated Networking Solutions Lab. Through this customer demonstration center, she introduced WiFi to over 5000 company leaders, analysts and journalist. At NASA, Tina drove the engineering development of life science experiments that flew on the historic Space Shuttle missions and the Russian space station, Mir.
Tina is an alumna of UC Berkeley with an MBA in strategy and a BS in engineering and earned an MS in engineering from UCDavis. In her spare time Tina enjoys volunteering with organizations that care for the needy and has served as vice president of the National Board of Directors for the YWCA of the U.S.A. among other leadership positions.
