1. Is it really as simple as placing a purchase order and registering students for class?
Yes. One purchase order covers the needs for 15, 30, or 60 classroom days of training. Students or partners simply register on-line for class and specify the purchase order and Juniper Networks confirmation number when prompted during the registration process. We recommend that a gatekeeper be assigned to administer all registrations for the customer or partner. Juniper Networks will acknowledge receipt of the registration request and confirm availability.
2. What is the best way to place an order?
Contact your local Juniper Networks sales representative. Fax your orders to Juniper Networks Training Administration at 408-745-8912.
3. What is the URL for classroom registration?
Go to http://www.juniper.net/training/technical_education/register/ and select the desired course to see the current schedule and register for a class.
4. Is there any time limit in which my company must register students to take classes?
Customers and partners have one year from the date of the original purchase order to register and use the number of training days purchased. Unused days are non refundable.
5. Can students attend training at any of the Juniper Networks training facilities?
Yes. Students can register to attend classes that are currently offered and available at any Juniper Networks Education Center for open enrollment classes. Specific locations may vary depending on the course schedules for a particular class.
Important Note: Please be advised that training sold through Training Paks can only be redeemed at a Juniper Networks training facility and cannot be redeemed at a Juniper Networks Authorized Education Center (JNAECs).
6. Are any training classes not available with the purchase of a Training Pak?
Yes. Security products (i.e. NetScreen platforms) and onsite classes are excluded.
7. My training needs total 120 days. Do you have a Training Pak to meet this requirement?
Yes. Simply purchase two (2) 60-day Training Paks. If your training requirements total 45 classroom days, purchase one 15-day bundle and 30-day bundle.
8. Can more than one student register to attend classes?
Yes. When you place a purchase order for the Training Pak, specify the names of the individuals who can attend those specific classes. If the purchase order does not specify the eligible students names, or a gatekeeper does not administer the registration process on behalf of the customer, or partner, then Juniper Networks will deem that the registration for any attending student is valid, and will deduct it from the number of days purchased. This eliminates delays and ensures that students are registered in a timely manner.
9. Can students attend from different locations?
Yes. You can register students from various locations as long as the same billing information and purchase order applies. If the individual is not authorized under the purchase order, or there is a different billing address, then you need to submit a separate purchase order.
10. How do I know that Juniper Networks has received and accepted my Training Pak order?
Once your order is accepted, you will receive an acknowledgement that includes a Juniper Networks confirmation number. When registering for classes, you must indicate both the Juniper Networks confirmation number and your company purchase order number. Registration requests cannot be processed without this information.
11. What are the primary benefits of purchasing a Training Pak?
There are many! First, the Training Paks eliminate the need to place, process, and administer multiple low-dollar purchase orders. The Educational Services Training Paks are also designed to help customers and partners to better plan and budget training and certification needs, as well as facilitate on going individual job development on Juniper Networks products.
