INSTALLING Non Juniper DSMs You can configure STRM to log and correlate events received from external sources such as security equipment (for example, firewalls), and network equipment (for example, switches and routers). Device Support Modules (DSMs) enable you to integrate STRM with these external devices. If you are running at least STRM 2008.2, you can install the DSM files located on this web site. To install DSM: - Download the file to your STRM console - Log in to STRM as root. - Navigate to the directory that includes the downloaded file. - Enter the following commands: tar jxvf STRM_non_juniper_DSMupdate_090216.tar_bz2 - Change directory. cd 2008.2 - Install all non Juniper DSM's by running the command rpm -Uvh *.rpm - Log in to the STRM interface. https:// Where is the IP address of the STRM system.
