Starting and Stopping the RADIUS Server

You can start or stop the RADIUS server using the commands described below.

To start the RADIUS server:

1. Change to the <server-directory> /opt/UMC/SPE.
2. Enter:

./S90radius start

During start-up, the RADIUS server binds to the LDAP server, which requires that the LDAP server be running before the RADIUS server is started. The RADIUS daemon is automatically started whenever the Solaris host is booted.

To stop the RADIUS server, enter:

./S90radius stop
