Documentation
With each SDX-300 software release, we provide the SDX-300 Documentation CD (referred to as the SDX documentation CD), which contains the following documentation:
- SDX Product Overview Guide - Provides a complete overview of the SDX software. This guide contains general information about SDX components, subscriber registration, service definitions, service subscriptions, open interfaces, accounting capabilities, and customized enterprise access portals.
- SDX Installation and Configuration Guide - Provides installation and preliminary configuration procedures for the SDX software.
- SDX Administration Guide - Describes how to administer and operate the SDX software. This guide contains information about managing subscribers and subscriptions, portal configurations, policy management, and system management.
- SDX Integration Guide - Provides basic procedures for integrating RADIUS AAA and directory server solutions with the SDX software.
- SDX Developer's Guide - Describes how to develop residential and enterprise portals, how to work with the LDAP schema, how to work with NIC configurations, and how to use SDX interfaces.
With each SDX Application Library release, we provide the SDX Application Library CD (referred to as the application library CD). This CD contains both the software applications and the SDX Application Library Guide. The SDX Application Library Guide describes how to install and work with the SDX gateway Web applications, the Workflow application, the Admission Control Plug-in, Inventory Importer, and the volume-tracking applications.
The documentation is also available on the Web. You can order a set of printed documents from your Juniper Networks sales representative.
Release Notes
The SDX Release Notes are included on the SDX-300 Service Deployment System Software CD and are available on the Web. In the Release Notes, you will find the latest information about features, changes, known problems, resolved problems, and system maximum values. If the information in the Release Notes differs from the information found in the documentation set, follow the Release Notes.
